An Honest Shop I take my truck to Norris Garage because of how he talks to you as a customer. Norris, and Larry take time to explain to the customer the problem or issues with the car without making the customer feel like an idiot. They are straight forward and really do a great job in diagnosing the issue and or repairing issues. I have been to a few other shops but by far they are the best in the area! Proof is in the pudding, hence why they have been around since 1973!! Great shop, Great people highly recommended.

Most garages in the DMV area won't even work on older pre-OBD2 cars. I have used two other garages before Morris. While the quality of work are good, waiting weeks for parts is the norm, as it takes time to find parts and the garages know this isn't my daily driver so they were in no hurry. I decided to try Norris because someone told me one of their mechanic used to work at Mitsubishi and knows the 2.6L engine well. I took my car there for a new timing chain, and it was done very quick to my surprise. Price wise ok, it wasn't cheap, but still cheaper than what I was quoted before. Like many older cars, as I was getting ready drive off, it developed an unrelated problem (42 yo sensor failed). They fixed it within a few hours for free. They were friendly, communicated well, and service was great.

The Norris Garage staff is very professional and efficient. They give you excellent customer service. The waiting area is quiet, clean and comfortable. I had to wait several hours for a water pump replacement for my 2014 Toyota, and I was able to set up and do my work, the WiFi connection was perfect. Larry and Mr. Norris were wonderful and treated me like family! I will be taking my car back to Norris Garage.

Parts are now being sourced for my (older) vehicle, and I understand that I will be contacted when all parts have arrived, so arrangements can be made for vehicle drop-off, and repairs can begin. The process was made as painless as possible.

I would give everyone in this company a 10-star review instead of only 5! This is the second time I've been here: The first time, I had a nail in my tire and even though they were SLAMMED, they felt the tire equaled an emergency so they slid me in, and had me out of there in 30 minutes (I think that was ~$50). After that, I've been more nervous about my tires and went in this morning since my tire light came on a few weeks ago. Expecting another nail, I thought I would need to leave it and head to McDonald's next door (or just walk home) since I hadn't made an appt and figured they'd get to it when they could. Joe suggested I wait for an initial examination before heading out. Less than 10mins later, they said the sensor might have been tripped just by normal air seepage.....the worst tire was only down 4-lbs! They didn't charge me Anything! They even spent a couple minutes telling me information about my vehicle that I'd never heard before. I'm So impressed that they cared more about taking care of me than getting money the dishonest way. I won't be going anywhere else while I live in this area. *Note: During both visits, I was shown to one of several personal rooms with a monitor showing the lot and my car. The restroom and my waiting room were both immaculately clean and they offered bottled water.

A big KUDO'S to Mr Norris and Larry. I applaud those 2 guys and their staff. I went into their shop with my jaguar jerking and pulling, within less than a week, those guys had me rolling out in what seems to be a brand new jaguar. I broke down from out of state and had Jeep towed to Norris Garage. Although only a simple diagnostic was performed the service and hospitality was 5 stars. The shop is clean and well organized. The shops rates are on the high side of your average shop. But if you can find a shop that knows what its doing and trust worthy! Pay a little more. It will save you in the long run.

We had a transmission failure while in Maryland from out of town, and they not only bumped us ahead in queue so we could get our issue figured out ASAP, but they also expedited our repair so that it was ready by the time we made it back to Maryland to fetch the car. They even gave us various options for new parts since cost was a big concern. It meant so much to find such reliable folks when we were really in a dire situation. Go to them!!

[1998 Honda Civic LX] Brought my car in on a Wednesday to get inspected for an oil leak which was quickly diagnosed as an oil pan gasket failure and subsequent leak. Scheduled an appointment for the following Thursday morning to get it fixed. Joe NORRIS (Owner) walked me through how they determined what was leaking and even showed me before and after of the great work Alvin (mechanic) did. Due to the competitive pricing and the warm and welcoming staff, I will no longer be taking my cars anywhere else in the future. My only "con" is that the shop is not open on the weekend but when you think about work-life balance I don't blame them and it's really not that significant of a "con". PS. Big ups to the Norris Garage Wifi allowing me to work remotely while I waited for my car. TL;DR - PROs: Competitive Pricing, Quality Work, Welcoming Staff CON: Shop not open on the weekend
